AI4SE & SE4AI Workshop 2023 Call for Abstracts

The Systems Engineering Research Center invites you to the fourth annual AI4SE & SE4AI workshop on September 27-28. This informative event is co-organized by the U.S. Army DEVCOM Armaments Center Systems Engineering Directorate and will be hosted by the George Washington University.

The theme this year, “Balancing Opportunity and Risk: The Systems Engineer’s Role in the Rapid Advancement of AI-Based Systems,” explores the intricate relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and systems engineering (SE).

Abstracts are sought by August 8 from government, industry, and academia for participation in presentations and on panels. The AI4SE & SE4AI workshop is an unclassified workshop, and all abstracts and presentations must be approved for public release.

Learn more about the AI4SE & SE4AI workshop by visiting the 2023 event page2022 program, and 2022 final report.

Attendance at the AI4SE & SE4AI workshop is limited to U.S. citizens only, and participants must submit their abstracts by August 18. However, non-U.S. citizens (and U.S. citizens) are encouraged to continue to submit abstracts beyond August 18 for a follow-up virtual and open workshop tentatively planned for October 11-12. This second workshop will be hosted only by SERC and the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Details of this second workshop will follow.
