The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research with support from the Faculty Development Team will host Dr. Jaroslaw Majewski, program manager for the National Science Foundation on the Troth Yeddha’ UAF campus September 12th and 13th.

Dr. Majewski will put on a workshop on Monday, September 12th starting at 9:30 am in the BP Design Theater (room 401) in the Joseph E. Usibelli Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility on Central Campus. This workshop will cover the structure of NSF, various funding opportunities provided by NSF,  how the NSF grant requests should be structured, what is the NSF “merit review” process, how the NSF panels are organized and executed, and how to work and communicate with NSF program directors.

Dr. Majewski is also available to meet with interested faculty, staff and students in one on one sessions during his time on campus. He is available to meet in-person or via Zoom for these sessions, and encourages bringing along a 1-page summary of your NSF proposal idea.
