Welcome to the DoD Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority-Serving Institutions (HBCU/MI) Opportunities Workshop, “Expanding the Competitiveness and Research Capacity at HBCUs and MIs” and the DoD HBCU/MI Summer Research Internship Program – Intern Seminar.

This free workshop is designed to provide insights into funding opportunities, assist attendees in developing more competitive proposals, and broaden participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by traditionally underserved and underrepresented students.

Workshop participants will:

• Have the opportunity to network with DoD program staff
• Gain insight into DoD proposal processes
• Learn best practices in the preparation of competitive proposals
