The Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) will host a workshop as part of the fourth annual AI4SE & SE4AI series. The theme this year, Balancing Opportunity and Risk: The Systems Engineer’s Role in the Rapid Advancement of AI-Based Systems, explores the intricate relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and systems engineering (SE).

The workshop on September 27-28 is co-organized by the U.S. Army DEVCOM Armaments Center Systems Engineering Directorate and will be hosted by the George Washington University. The deadline to register to attend this first workshop is September 12. Attendance will be in-person only and limited to U.S. citizens. Attendees will be asked to verify citizenship with documents in hand. As of September 8, only 25 seats remain open. There will be a waitlist in case any seats open back up.
